Our Vision

We exist to help people find hope, follow Jesus, and discover the life God created them to live.

Our Values

Values impact what we do. They act as guiding principles and drive our decisions. These values determine how we approach our mission. You’ll see these values in every aspect of New Life Seacoast Church.
Jesus Is Our Message
The Gospel (The Good News of what Jesus did) is central to everything we do. When we come together, we do so to celebrate the love of Jesus and the Gospel message.
We Aim For Excellence
Excellence honors God and inspires people. We want to avoid average and strive for excellence in how we minister to people and in how we present the Church. We will give God, our guests, and our people our best.
We Have Fluid Methods
While our message never changes, we know that based on the times and the current emphasis God has given us as a church, we may need to shift and change our methods to reach people. The only thing sacred at New Life Seacoast Church is Jesus and the message of the Gospel.
We Embrace Generosity
No one is more generous than God. We model that characteristic when we give with a generous spirit. We never consider giving a task, chore, or religious exercise. It is a joy to give. Our generosity advances God’s Kingdom on Earth. So we hold our time, our skills, and our gifts with open hands; we look for needs, and meet them.

Our Beliefs

What you believe about God is the most important thing about you. Life is difficult and confusing, we are here to help. Our core beliefs are centered in Christ and His message as found in the Bible.
New Life Seacoast is a place where you can belong even before you believe.
God Is Our Father
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the creator of the universe, never changing, eternal, all-powerful and unending in love.

Genesis 1:1, Matthew 3:16-17, 1 John 5:7-8
Jesus Is God's Son
We believe that Jesus Christ (the Son of God) became flesh to reveal God to man and rescue the world from evil. He, being fully God yet fully man, is the only person to live a sinless life. He was born of a virgin and took the weight of sin and evil in the world on the cross so mankind could be free from the penalty of sin and creation would be redeemed. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.

Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1, 14; 3:16, 1 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:15
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is a complete and equal part of the Trinity. He works in the world to make all people understand their need for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit lives inside every follower of Jesus from the moment they decide to follow Him. The Spirit is our power source for life, ministry, and spiritual growth. To tap into that power, we must continually yield to the Holy Spirit's leading and direction

Acts 1:5, 8, Ephesians 3:16
The Bible Is God's Word
We believe the Bible is God’s Word to all people, written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs without mistakes and the final authority on life.

Proverbs 30:5-6, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21
Jesus Saves
We believe Salvation is by grace, through faith. It is a gift from God to all people. We can never make up for our sins by self-improvement or good works. You don’t do anything to earn your salvation, and you can’t do anything to lose it. We are saved from sin’s penalty by trusting in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice as God’s offer of forgiveness.

Luke 24:46-47, John 1:29, Acts 3:19, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 John 1:7-9, Revelation 5:9
Eternity
You were created to exist forever. We believe that forever is spent in one of two places: eternally separated from God because of sin or in union with God because of His forgiveness and salvation. When you die, you will either spend eternity in heaven or hell. Eternal separation from God happens in hell. Eternal union with God occurs in heaven.

John 3:16, I John 2:25, 5:11-13, Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:15
Eternal Security
Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and eternal power of God that gives this security.

John 10:29, II Timothy 1:12, Hebrews 7:25, 10:10-14, I Peter 1:3-5
Jesus' Return
We believe in the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of believers, the final judgment, and all things being made right in the new heaven and the new earth. Only the Father knows the time of Jesus’ return.

Matthew 24:30, 36, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, Revelation 1:7, Revelation 21:1-2

Our Pastor

Shane Becton, Lead Pastor
In 2019 my wife. Holly, and I relocated our family from the coast of North Carolina to New Hampshire. With over twenty years of experience in ministry, I have held various leadership positions within the church, including Family Ministries Pastor and roles as both Campus and Executive Pastor. These varied experiences have deepened my understanding of church ministry and the needs of people, shaping me for my current position as Lead Pastor.

In New Hampshire, my wife and I have encountered wonderful opportunities to connect with an incredible community on the Seacoast. We've been able to share the transformative message of Jesus and look forward to building meaningful relationships with all of you as we work together to love and serve our community!!
